Competitive Enablement Refresh

Competitive Enablement Refresh

Keep competitive sales content current

Competitive Enablement Refresh is one of the sixteen methods in Competitive Skills by LMTY.

Try asking

  • Update our competitive enablement after this competitor change
  • Which battlecard and talk-track lines are now stale, and what should replace them?
  • Refresh the affected sales content from the latest market evidence

Use this when

A competitor change invalidates or weakens sections of current internal enablement.

What it needs

The observed market change, the current enablement assets, relevant product truth, and usage or field context when available.

What it produces

The affected lines or sections, the evidence behind the change, a scoped edit, and distribution options, the audiences they reach, and the trade-offs between them.

How the method works

Trace the observed change to the specific claims it affects. Change as little as necessary. Preserve unaffected guidance. Flag related assets that may need the same correction.

Evidence rules

The reason for the edit should remain source-backed and dated. Do not turn one market change into a broad rewrite without evidence.

What Market Analyst adds

A tracked change can be traced to the assets and claims that depend on the old state.

What this skill does not own

Drafting scoped updates is supported. Automatically publishing into repositories or guaranteeing adoption is not established.

Use the method in the right context

The skill can run on its own with the context available to the AI system. When LMTY is connected, it can start from persistent market context and supporting evidence. Company-specific or deal-specific conclusions still require the relevant private context.

Competitive revenue enablement

  • Create or refresh a reusable competitive battlecard with current evidence, discovery guidance, proof, qualification, and field-ready positioning.

  • Verify a buyer’s competitive claim, understand the concern underneath it, and prepare a concise evidence-backed response with useful discovery questions.

  • Prepare a team for one named competitive opportunity using current market context plus the buyer and account evidence available for the deal.

  • Map buyer requirements, competitive risks, proof events, and no-go conditions for a formal POC, POV, bake-off, or RFP.

  • Competitive Enablement Refresh

Update the parts of existing competitive enablement that became stale when a competitor, product, price, or market claim changed.

  • Audit battlecards and other competitive sales assets for stale, unsupported, duplicated, or risky claims before they reach the field.
