Find a Skill for the work in front of you

A Skill is a bounded method for one real job. Each Skill defines the context it needs, what it produces, evidence rules, limits, and how the work should be evaluated.

The current public library is Competitive Skills by LMTY.

Market intelligence

  • Build a current, evidence-backed understanding of one competitor across customer, positioning, product, pricing, recent changes, strengths, and trade-offs.

  • Test whether a pattern of competitor, buyer, product, pricing, or positioning signals represents a real market shift rather than noise.

  • Create a concise recurring market briefing with dated changes, interpretation, a watchlist, and clear coverage limits.

  • Turn current market evidence into a concise leadership brief centered on a real decision, risk, opportunity, or planning moment.

Positioning and offer

  • Develop or pressure-test competitive positioning against the alternatives customers actually consider, using evidence rather than invented differentiation.

  • Audit existing messaging against market and customer evidence to find convergence, weak proof, stale claims, and areas that need another look.

  • Use current competitor offers, pricing history, customer evidence, and company context to pressure-test a pricing or packaging decision.

  • Pressure-test an upcoming product launch against current alternatives, recent market movement, buyer expectations, and supportable differentiation.

Competitive revenue enablement

  • Create or refresh a reusable competitive battlecard with current evidence, discovery guidance, proof, qualification, and field-ready positioning.

  • Verify a buyer's competitive claim, understand the concern underneath it, and prepare a concise evidence-backed response with useful discovery questions.

  • Prepare a team for one named competitive opportunity using current market context plus the buyer and account evidence available for the deal.

  • Map buyer requirements, competitive risks, proof events, and no-go conditions for a formal POC, POV, bake-off, or RFP.

  • Update the parts of existing competitive enablement that became stale when a competitor, product, price, or market claim changed.

  • Audit battlecards and other competitive sales assets for stale, unsupported, duplicated, or risky claims before they reach the field.

Customer and product learning

  • Analyze repeated wins and losses using real buyer and deal evidence, while exposing conflicting cases, sample bias, and unsupported explanations.

  • Turn competitive and customer evidence into product questions worth investigating without letting competitor activity dictate the roadmap.

Open methods. Better with persistent context.

The Skills can run with the context available in the AI host. When LMTY is connected, the same methods can start from tracked competitors, market history, observed changes, and evidence instead of rebuilding the market from zero.

Every Skill follows the same evidence discipline

Observed facts stay separate from interpretation. Current claims are dated. Missing evidence stays missing. Stronger recommendations require stronger context. A method should become more careful when the evidence gets thinner.

The Skills work without LMTY

Each Skill can run with the context available in the host.

When LMTY is connected, the same method can start from tracked competitors, market history, observed changes, and source-backed evidence. That removes a large amount of repeated setup.

Competitive intelligence is the context. The Skills do the work.

The LMTY MCP can supply market context and actions. Competitive Skills teaches the AI what to do with that context.

That distinction is intentional.
