POC & RFP Competitive Plan

POC & RFP Competitive Plan

Plan what your competitive evaluation needs to prove

POC & RFP Competitive Plan is one of the sixteen methods in Competitive Skills by LMTY.

Market Analyst fit: deal-context-heavy

Try asking

  • Plan our competitive POC against this competitor
  • Turn these RFP requirements into a competitive proof plan
  • What should this head-to-head evaluation prove, and how?

Use this when

A buyer enters a formal POC, POV, bake-off, or RFP with stated requirements.

What it needs

Buyer requirements, opportunity context, current competitor and product truth, calls or CRM, and prior POC or RFP evidence when available.

What it produces

An evaluation matrix covering requirements, table stakes, differentiators, proof events, evidence, risk, and no-go conditions.

How the method works

Translate each important requirement into something that can be demonstrated or verified. Separate table stakes from meaningful proof. Identify where the competitor may be stronger and where the team lacks evidence.

Evidence rules

Buyer context is necessary. Do not invent evaluation criteria from a generic template.

What Market Analyst adds

Market Analyst can bring current competitor and market evidence into the formal evaluation without confusing it with buyer-specific requirements.

What this Skill does not own

No general RFP authoring automation or procurement evaluation platform.

Use the method in the right context

The Skill can run on its own with the context available to the AI system. When LMTY is connected, it can start from persistent market context and supporting evidence. Company-specific or deal-specific conclusions still require the relevant private context.
